Searching for the castle
This whimsy afternoon,
Settled, thickened forest
Rocks in craggy view.

Lovely golden princess
Bobbing ‘neath the light
Glides the brambled earth
Giggles her delight.

No stone and iron fortressed
Discovers what she yearns
Understands the magic
That she does not learn.

Certainly, there are castles
Fairies, gnomes and elves,
Happily, oh so happily
Ever after with herself.
