How much does our life run us? How much do we run our lives? Amazing is how busy we can become, mired in all sorts of obligations. Running along, from thing to thing, without taking time for pause or reflection. How much, in the midst of this, do we take time out to do something intentional, mindful?

Slowing down physically and mentally, taking some deep breaths, and centering ourselves. It can be difficult to sort things out in one’s head, when there is a lot of frenetic internal and external stimuli. So, in changing pace, we gain valuable perspective.

Why not take a moment to sit quietly, take some deep belly breaths, and let yourself be. Notice the difference you feel after just a few moments. Notice how this time investment affects your outlook for the remainder of the day. And then ongoing, just remember to breathe.
