Happy Fourth of July!  This cool day in July is a breath of fresh air. The breeze has been constant. The sky mostly blue.  Last Fourth of July I reminisced about celebrating in New England, and this Fourth of July we spent the holiday in New England!  Experiencing the small-town charm, with regional flair showcased in the local parades, has been really fun.

Bands performing on wagons, brightly painted tractors pulling them, vintage cars, firetrucks, candy tossed towards children in attendance.  And even, a pink breast cancer awareness fuel truck. The onlookers lined the street, unhurriedly settled on the curb, waving and clapping at those who had made the effort to make the day a special one.

What a great holiday!  Hope yours is great, too!! 🙂
