Today, due to a few time constraints, I will write a shorter post and wanted to include a photo I hope you find inspirational.  The picture, captured at the Women’s Walk in Portland, shows a woman solidly holding a sign that reads “Protect Mother Earth.”

What I love about this subject and the reason I took the photograph, is due to what I perceive to be the calm determination in the woman’s face and how she is unapologetically standing up for what she believes in.  She is an example to us all, and now, also a nod to the Alt National Park Service, who is doing just what she is requesting.

In the midst of all of the confusion, executive orders, changes in White House roles, the signing of non-disclosures during White House meetings, calls to senators, marches, rallies and protests, I have to wonder if this is a pony show to distract from other issues happening underneath the radar.  Are you getting that sense, too?  Is something fishy going on here?

Sniff.  Sniff.

We shall see . . .

May we all feel our calm determination as we move through the day . . .

Today’s song of the day is Land of Confusion by Genesis.  The video seems to be a commentary about the Ronald Reagan administration.  And not a very flattering one . . .
