Because it is important to take breaks for calm and restoration, I am posting a snowy nature photo.  Poignant to me about this capture is the footsteps through the snow overlayed with shadows and interrupting tracks.  Despite these seeming interruptions the tracks continue on their journey . . .

On my mind today is a friend I have yet to meet, who is having some serious surgery for cancer.  We can deal with drama at a national level, and we can have it in our personal lives as well.  Drama takes its toll on one’s body.  Those things that try us and wear us down need a counterbalancing calm . . .

I am aware that this surgery is taking place because a friend contacted me to see if she could get a print of one of my healing image photographs to give to her friend while she was in the hospital.  And so, the image “Strength and Burden” went out into the world yesterday to hopefully impart strength and healing.

Wishing you a calm, centered day today.  I will be helping out a colleague at a professional conference, and I am sure this experience will be a calming, centering one as well. I will be mostly away from social media, but will reply to any comments as I can.

An additional side note is a big thank you to my friend who thought of my images for her friend and her friend’s healing.  Thank you for supporting my work.   I will be sending out warm, healing thoughts this morning . . . ❤
